more than just a means to get from point a to point b

some people say that a vehicle is just a means to get from point a to point b.  for others, such as myself, it is much more than that.  although these two cars have gotten me to so many destinations safe and sound.  the journey it took me to get these cars to what they are today has taught me quite a lot.  its kind of funny and odd to say that working on a car can teach life lessons, but hey, God can reveal many things in the strangest ways, right?

the biggest things that these two project cars have taught me is patience.  whether it was working countless hours trying to install the new parts.  waiting several months for custom ordered parts to arrive.  running into mishaps during installations.  it taught me that no matter what one encounters in life, one should try to be as patient as they can.  sometimes with a lack of patience, one tends to gain frustration, anger, and possibly hopelessness.  truth is, we are ALL going to run into bumpy paths and a ton of obstacles.  in the end, its vital that one sees the bigger picture.  realizing that there are always lessons to be learned through struggle, realizing that there should be true purpose in everything we do, and most of all to persevere when things don’t go as we expect.  often times there are good paths in life, but remember sometimes there are even BETTER journeys that may be more difficult.  fear not if you don’t get what you want, pray for patience and trust that possibly better things are ahead of you.

man, i miss wrenching on cars with my homies back at home.

enjoy the pics.  i did a re-edit on these two photos, so they make look slightly different than what you might have seen in the past.  enjoy!

sorry for the long hiatus.  this past winter and spring, i started a new chapter in life.  the beginning of medical school.  this coming season, i am back.  i want to take a new direction with this blog.  since i am no longer in the professional shooting industry, the content will be slightly different.  this blog will now serve as a canvas for me throw my thoughts, ideas, and rants on.  i am hoping to share parts of my life and experience sthat you may be able to relate to or gain some sort of insight from.  life is about sharing and giving.  i realized that i could utilize this very space as an avenue to reach out to you all with fun updates.  i hope you all enjoy what is to come.  please feel free to drop a line in the comment box below.  i’d love to hear feedback from you all as well.  :-)
